lagi iseng dengerin launchcastnya yahoo jadi kepikiran gimana klo bikin list lagu sendiri terus orang2 pada dengerin.nah kepikiran deh bikin radio streaming sendiri. and then i'll try shoutcast as the server dan sy broadcast dengan shoutcast DSP for linux, dan berjalan bagus.

cuman shoutcast DSP for linux belum bisa menjalankan output dari DSP (sy jalankan sering kali segmentation fault), mungkin ada settingan di linux sy yg salah.jadi sy broadcast dengan memasukan list mp3 ke file playlist sy.

namun sy menemukan tool yg lumayan bagus yaitu "oddcast v2 xmms plugins" jadi sekarang bisa melakukan broadcast menggunakan xmms tinggal set server shoutcast dan passwordnya.xmms langsung terkoneksi dengan shoutcast.akan lebih bagus lagi klo xmms di pasang crossfade plugins sebagai output nya, jadi pada saat perpindahan lagu ada effect fade nya.

video streaming server

Recently me and all my friend have finished some video streaming server for education, we are stream tv education ( a program from minister of education), taken from satelite tv and broadcast it via internet.
and beside that we are also stream all other stuff about education (taken from vcd). and the result is not bad. we are using windows media server (still searching for open source program), we tested the streaming with 256 Kbit/s and then 192Kbit/s then 128Kbit/s look nice like indosiar streaming.

we hope that this can be usefull for all "edu community".

Boikot Michelin

Balapan yg aneh, cuman 6 mobil Formula 1 yg tampil pada grandprix f1 di indianapolis US. Ujung-ujung pemenangnya sudah bisa di tebak klo yg ikut race itu cuman ferrari, jordan dan minardi.Gara-garanya boikot yg di lakukan tim-tim pemakai ban Michelin. apakah ini simbol kekurangsiapan michelin, disatu sisi michelin sukses di beberapa grandprix di eropa dan asia namun takut menghadapi sirkuit indianapolis yg berkarakter cepat.

Siapa yg salah, FIA ato Michelin. Tapi ko tim pemakai Bridestone tenang-tenang saja.

gara-gara Michelin balapan jadi ga seru, untuk itu saya akan boikot Michelin dari sepeda motor saya, hehehe :)

come back to school

back to school "stm 2 bandung". why im back to school ?, yap because im now maintain the "noc" off the school. not only my school but all the school in bandung, we called it the bandung cyber community, the community for the school so they can conected each other an to the internet.

it's lot of hardworking, cause im mantain the networked that already build by another people.

and there is one event this month that i must take care of, the psb online, an online registration for new student.wuih lot of hardworking.

linux influence

Minggu minggu ini, gw sangat disibukan orang orang yg menanyakan linux. Apakah linux bisa ini, apakah linux bisa itu dsb.

memang di kantor gw pengguna linux, bukan maksud egois memakai linux cuman kerjaan gw lebih mudah memakai linux daripada M$soft windoz. its simple to use shell, compiler etc.

rupa-rupanya orang menanyakan linux, karena adanya sweeping software bajakan. yg bikin panik mereka khususnya warnet. karena kebanyakan mereka menggunakan M$ windoz bajakan. alih alih mereka coba migrasikan desktop mereka ke linux.sebagian ada yg berhasil dengan migrasi mereka ke linux sebagian masih meraba-raba.namun jika semua warnet migrasi ke linux toh customer jg tidak akan ada lagi pilihan, ke warnet manapun pasti isinya linux (nice campaigne).

dari dulu linux di kenal cuman di kalangan pelajar doang, mudah2an dengan ini orang2 semakin tahu apa itu linux.

Dulu waktu Richard Stallman datang ke bandung dia cerita banyak mengenai kampanye linux dan open source yg lumayan sulit.

Tapi kayanya kampanye yg paling gampang bikin isu sweeping aja, hahaha. Karena yakin masyarakat indonesia belon mampu beli licensed software.

sendmail load average

im newbie in sendmail (try to use a different MTA than qmail), last day i have trouble with my sendmail. the sendmail daemon wont receive and send the message.the log of the sendmail daemon told that

"sendmail[51879]: rejecting connections on daemon MTA: load
average: 14"

oh that so the problem.then ill tried to remove all the mail in queue, but nothing sendmail still say that he rejected.
oke lets try to look the process, wow what is that there is perl scripts with 60% CPU load. so maybe this process who make my sendmail reject everything, ill try to kill the process then the load average become normal then sendmail daemon start his connection again.

GimpShop yeauh

I saw GimpShop here. Its a personal hack from the sourcecode of GIMP a Gnu Image Manipulation Tool a.k.a graphics editor.

So whats Difference between Gimpshop and Gimp, well if you go to Gimpshop creator Scott moschella’s site. there are nice discription, how he made layout matching of options available in GIMP to Adobe’s Photoshop.

new season f1 2005

at last f1 2005, new season with new car, new technology, new driver and new rules. i hope this year there is no ferarri domination. i think Jenson Button at BAR Honda will make a great performance this year continue last year good performance. and i hope that Mark Webber and Nick Heidfeld will have good performance to at BMW Williams.but i think so pesimistic with the indian N karthikeyan at the jordan team. actually this year will become the year of youngster the year of kimi, button, alonso, webber. but what about schumi and the ferarri, yes he and his ferarri still the best but i hope other team can stop his domination especially the young guns. let see this week at Albert Park Australia :D

my new mac style

introducing my new mac style, thanks to xfce4 and xfce aqua theme. Running on my slackware 10.1 , very nice, very powerfull, user friendly and make me feel comfortable to use it.its better than KDE you know.there is no hardfeeling about that (KDE i mean).so try it .......

musim ujian

wah hari ini mulai ujian akhir semester euy, ngoprek2 di kurangi dulu hehehehe. musim ujian ya musimnya ujian wuakaka.

wow, akhirnya kerjaan awal gw dah beres. ternyata memanage bandwidth tuh susah. but thanks to ipfw2+dummynet masalah awal dah teratasi. ipfw2 makin mudah dengan fasilitas table, skipto en dll dummynet dengan wfq nya juga lumayan tangguh walau jadinya banyak paket yg di drop kalo bandwidth udah penuh. tapi setidaknya satu masalah sudah teratasi. tinggal ngeliat performance nya kaya gimana nanti. tapi ada pr nih nyobain pake altq.

hoehoe senangnya bisa melihat lagi naruto dan kenshin himura (samurai x) dari awal, walaupun jam acara nya sama hehehe, jadi sering-sering mencetin remote deh. cuman ngantor jadi sering telat gara-gara nonton tuh 2 film. cuman seru juga ada cerita seorang ninja di naruto dan ada cerita seorang samurai di samurai x seru dah. hehehe
